at Kapiri Health Centre

Thanks to MACS, we no longer have to conduct deliveries at night with lamps and candles nor do we have to suture patients with cuts by lamplight in the Outpatients Department during power outages.

Clinical Officer, Harrim Soko                             Liwaladzi Health Centre

Thanks to the generosity of MACS supporters, mothers and new-born babies are now assured of reliable electricity for lighting, refrigeration and oxygen concentrators at health centres at Kapiri, Liwaladzi and Chididi in the Diocese of Lake Malawi. But now we know that we must have a bigger ambition ………….

With nine months still to run for our 2021 appeal, there are many more mothers and babies who still need our help! MACS is now aiming to raise £20,000 more for three rural health centres, this time attached to St Luke’s Hospital, Malosa.
