Bicycle ambulances  are ‘trailers’ attached to the back of a byke so that a patient who is too sick to sit up on the bike carrier, can lie down.

MACS has been providing them as and when money is available from our GIFT LIST.

Ambulance bicyles

They are especially needed out in the villages and are kept at the small health centres where they can be borrowed to transport the sick from their homes to the centres. There is no available vehicle to offer and these can be used even during the heavy rains when dirt roads are impassable to 4-wheel vehicles.
