July 2011, MACS agreed to fund 10 Anglican women for the 6 month training programme at Chilema.

The students learnt a variety of skills, including agriculture. They learn to grow different varieties of vegetables, including those which are less commonly known.

The importance of storing water so that they are not dependent on erratic rainfall for watering their gardens.
